Finding Your Courage – New Food or Old?
Wednesday, January 13th, 2010I was faced with an interesting question from my younger son the other day. He meandered into the kitchen and said it was all right when he used my The New Raw Food Detox Diet book is a record for his chocolate cake. There were so many things wrong with this question, which I do not know where to begin. Not that Natalia Rose, author of the eponymous book is to chocolate, but I do not believe that large-sized slices teenagers qualify for a good chocolate cake diet. And use her book as a plate!
On the positive side, he has regard for the floor and sofa – with nothing but a plate was an advance on normal teenage eating habits. But it will be a while before he will be deployed in having one of the recipes in the book.
And I can remember feeling the same time. I just nutrition, growth was so good someone showed me:
* The meals can be delicious – I could try small samples of what was on offer;
* they were easy to prepare – I saw it done; and
* Began to me on the first small steps with the right tools available – such as book Natalia.
But in order to take advantage of any of this I had to be prepared to let go of my notions of what raw food was and take those brave first steps in trying and doing. And open myself up to new possibilities and a different sensory experience with food. It meant letting go of some of my old ideas and putting into practice some new ones.
Where we will mirror the experience of something in life to move beyond existing boundaries. To help them:
* Someone shows you what to do
* Your mind is opened up to new ideas
* You are in a safe space to try things out
* You are shown the small steps that can get you on a new road
* You get the confidence to try things out for size and decide what you want
This is true of coaching for a new life as well as new eating.
So ask yourself now:
* What do I want to change?
* Do I really want it?
* If I really want these changes, but I’m not doing it, what am I afraid of?
* How can I find a safe space to try things out?
* Who can support me in this?
* What’s the next step I could take?
Perhaps your first step is to decide what you want and then get a group of people around the help and support you. Friends, colleagues and coaches will have a mix of skills to help and provide a support structure – but you must make the decision to go ahead!

Eliminate Sugar- Weight Loss Secrets
Friday, January 1st, 2010A client wrote, “Help me! I thought I was finally getting a handle on my weight issue but the sugar is killing me. I had an awful day. I won’t even tell you what I ate today because it is just so unbelievable. All I will say is that 90% of my food today consisted of sugar! I really, really need some help getting past these cravings. I am no doubt a sugar addict. If I could get past this there is no doubt that I will reach my goal.”
Most refer to themselves this message if you are not alone. Describes himself as a lot of sugar addiction. It was only one thing they are, then they may believe that to achieve weight loss goals. If you believe that you are standing as the only one to lose weight, this: What if, for example, one thing (sugar addiction) was going to study?
Do you really believe, "If I can get past this point, there is no doubt, I will reach my goal" or a convenient excuse to stick? If I tell you, I can tell you desire a way to stop sugar, you want me to tell you how? Think of that moment. Close your eyes, feel through. You have said that, as long as you do not want sugar, then you can lose weight, but is that really you, is that true? Ask yourself these questions: Are you eating habits are different and how?
Would you act differently, and if so how?What else would change, and what would stay the same? What would you lose?What would you gain?Until you know what you want, know you can achieve it, and know what else will change (i.e. how your life may be different), you can’t discover any obstacles that first must be considered. For instance, you may want to stop eating anything after 7 PM yet your husband doesn’t come home from work until 8 and he wants you to join him for dinner. That’s an obstacle.
If you have like to watch and ice cream bowls favorite TV viewing habits, and then to break this habit is another obstacle.If you do not work, think of ways to overcome, through discussion, and with your husband, or compromise, maybe your barriers to break the habit of practicing your ice cream habit, there's bound to become a problem. Only said that you will not do anything and rarely effective. On the contrary the identification of possible prejudice to achieve their goals, to find a way to bypass these methods, you are more likely to achieve these goals, once and for all.
The statement, “if this one thing were handled, then everything else would fall into place” is an “If Then” statement and gets people into trouble. They want a fairy godmother to make it all better. A strong belief that one single thing such as, “eating sugar is my problem,” sets you up to fail, especially if you really like eating sugary foods. Getting a handle on your cravings is not an all-or-nothing proposition.
1) State what you want (not what you do not want). “I want to weigh 135 pounds.”
2) Determine whether you can achieve it (do you believe it is possible?).
3) What resources do you have and what do you need (time, money, gear, clothes, equipment, coaching, whatever).
4) Check whether anyone else is involved and any potential obstacles that may come up regarding others. Think of everyone involved in your day-to-day life.
5) Picture yourself “as if” you’ve obtained what you say you want and see if that picture fits. Do you like what you see?
6) Put together a plan of action for the achievement of your outcome. While it may seem like a lot of effort simply to decide what you really want, going through these steps at the beginning helps you find potential obstacles which previously stopped you from moving forward.
For example, if you decide you want to join a gym and start exercising every day but you’ve forgotten you don’t even own a car and just lost your job, that exercise plan might not work out right now. If you did join a gym, you’d end up not going and then you’d think you’d failed, yet it was the plan that failed, not you. You didn’t think it through.
A better plan in this instance may be doing exercises at home, or within walking distance (or simply walking for exercise). Later, when you do have transportation, you can rethink the plan and perhaps join a gym then. There are always options. It’s better to look at what you want from every angle, then put together a plan you know can and will work.
If you know what you want when you then, and you realize it, for it is reality, you see that you can start from the first step.

Creating A Limitless Life…

It’s a life where you are free to reach your highest potential – a life where negative thinking is powerless to stop you from pursuing your dreams and desires to create a rich and abundant life full of joy and possibilities. It’s a life where you are completely open to seeing those possibilities.
I don’t want to get to the end of my life and find that I lived just the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well. Diane Ackerman
If you want only the length of your life, just slow down and take what comes your way? Or do you want to live the width of your life as well, to experience the fullness of the possibilities life has to offer, and always open for more – more joy and happiness, more peace, more abundance, more love and more success in every way you put it ?
1. Take responsibility for your life. This is the only way to go beyond the shooting will happen to my life. Claim that your life now to create your own destiny. It is under your control. If you can not believe it, and decided to spend the day here on earth how one day, you can choose to use them in either joy or frustration.
2. Decide what you want. So many people waste life’s precious moments complaining and reciting all the things they don’t want. Free yourself from that trap. Look deep inside yourself and determine what a limitless life means to you.
3. Take action and live now. Stop waiting for tomorrow. Make even a small amount of time each day to either do or pursue the things you dream of. Don’t wait to take action when you could do it now, and don’t assume life will reward you with all you dream of if you’re unwilling to get off your butt to go after it.
4. Experience the tranquility and question your mind. Incessantly and thinking is indisputably one of the biggest obstacles that you have ever had in the pursuit of a boundless life of happiness, wealth and peace face. Your mind and thoughts are tools to use to assist in your unlimited service life. (Remember you have no time to learn to calm your mind? Check out my article meditation in an eventful life.)
Five. Please push yourself beyond your comfort zone and think big. This is the best way to maintain their growth. In life, no growth has been stagnant or dead one like it. More comfortable than a little stretch and reach for a little more than I think it is possible, in many cases, be rewarded beyond their expectations.
6. Are continuously working to release your negative thoughts and feelings. Negativity in you and in what form is resistance and resistance is directed limits. If you rid themselves of negativity, you open up new opportunities that were previously obscured by your negative perspective. (Tips, see my long article on overcoming negative energy on my website.)
7. Surround yourself with other positive-minded people. Cultivate friendships and relationships with people who are joyous in life and have a positive energy within them. Seek out other unlimited thinkers – they do exist! (And my personal suggestion is to run the other way when you’re confronted by negative complainers – they’ll suck the life right out of you…)
8. Take time to consider why you or your soul are here. Are you here to live a life of misery and complaint, or unlimited abundance in every area possible? Realize that there are some people living under the most difficult conditions life can offer who still manage to create love, joy and peace for themselves.
9. Search for and live your passion. When you find what you truly care about and put your energy into it, you create a a powerful force for breaking through your preconceived limits.
10. Open to and accept. And everything you do yourself. Into your life to your values, to give you as freely as possible in support of others, they are trying to create their own happy love. Then make sure you open all the good things received, have come to you. If you do not receive the best open, unrestricted life offers, then you will not see the opportunities and gifts in front of you, they will for you.
Life is like a gift in a box, and you have to decide whether to throw it away, leave it sitting unwrapped in the box, or gleefully tear open the box to find the delightful possibilities inside. It’s up to you. Nobody else gets your gift. Nobody else can open it for you.
