The body is without doubt very complex and a little known fact is that of all the tissues in the body hair grows faster than any other.he make up of each individual hair is in the form of three layers – the inner layer (medulla) , which is only found in thick hair , the middle layer (cortex) determining texture , color and strength of the hair and finally the protection for the cortex which is known as the cuticle. Hair growth starts at the roots and they are surrounded by follicles.

Having said that, it does not, however, is well known that more than 50% of men, at some point in their life, with male pattern baldness (MPB.) is also known as androgenetic alopecia are suffering. There is no evidence at the present time to the fact that this happens at a given moment in the life of a man.

It must be said that hair loss is certainly not a problem applicable only to the modern era. The subject of hair loss has certainly been noticed and has in fact been studied down through the ages. Some of the most absorbing and interesting facts and discoveries were in fact made many many years ago and to describe some of them as ancient would certainly not be out of place.

It was found that men who, unfortunately, because of the drag into the war and were castrated in the battle never suffered from hair loss. In support of this was also found that men with no genitals, that eunuchs did not suffer with the problem of hair loss. These facts began with a realization that it bring a clear link between hair loss and the male hormone testosterone. It was also noted that there is a greater tendency toward hair loss, when the hair is a recessive gene.

If you take the average scalp contains about 100,000 to 150,000 hair follicles and hairs. At any time, 90% of the hair grows to 10% of the hair is dormant. There are three distinct stages in the development of hair and are anagen, catagen and telogen. Let's take a look at these stages.

The anagen stage is the stage where hair is actively growing and naturally this stage is longer for follicles in the scalp than anywhere else on the body. It should also be noted that this lasts longer for women than for men .

The three stages last different lengths of time:

Normal anagen phase lasts about five years

The normal catagen stage lasts about three weeks

The normal telogen phase lasts approximately twelve weeks.

Determine one of the most important points is that it is natural to lose some hair. It is generally accepted that the loss will be drawn from 100 hairs a day considered to be natural. Under this consideration, it is generally not apparent to most people that they actually lose their hair before it an actual loss of approximately 50%.
